We didn't end up seeing any of the last day of the Folk Fest. There was lightning and rain and such. Stouter folk than we braved the elements, but we went out for dinner instead. I regret nothing.
I'm still trying to figure out what it was about Hellboy 2 that bothered me so much. Maybe bothered isn't the right word. Nothing in the film engaged me. No, there was also stuff in there that outright annoyed me as well. Young Hellboy for instance. Actually every single character in the movie annoyed me. That's kind of a big problem. I think del Toro was so busy focussing on the big themes of the movie that he forgot all the little things. i was too busy focussing on all the little things to care about the big things.

Not to mention the big advertisement Hellboy 3 while in the middle of Hellboy 2. They did it. Twice. Twice they said "We don't like this movie, but look forward to the next one anyways." All the characters pissed you off though? I was a big fan of the guy who's name I can't remember. That guy that ghosted out and possessed stuff. That was a good guy.
